Our Story

Big Horn Pediatrics began serving Gillette, WY over 35 years ago in a temporary trailer just down the hill from CCMH in Gillette, WY. BHP continues today as a privately held, provider owned, medical clinic serving Gillette, WY and surrounding towns in the Northeast Wyoming region.

Mindy Keil PA-C, has taken the reigns and expanded the business in 2020 to include a clinic in Buffalo, WY, and has transitioned the practices to include a family medicine component to better serve our patients in each community.

Big Horn Pediatrics & Family Medicine is pleased to offer care from provider, Jennifer Rasmuson NP-C, who has been serving the community of Buffalo at Big Horn Pediatrics & Family Medicine since 2020. Dr. Tabb MD, has also brought his focus is Non-Operative Sports Medicine to our clinic, and Stefanie Garcia PA-C is a wonderful addition with her background in family practice.

Meet The Team

A. Dozier Tabb M.D. FMC

Aubrey Dozier Tabb M.D. is pleased to announce his upcoming return in the practice of Non-Operative Sports Medicine at Big Horn Pediatrics & Family Medicine. "The opportunity to be involved in the care of recreational & occupational sports medicine needs, & regional athletics has been an unquenchable desire deeply missed during my 3 year retirement from public practice."

Tabb's interest in sports medicine began with his own involvement in high school athletics. His training culminated in a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Penn State University & the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. His practice includes 20 years of regional involvement in Johnson County & assorted contests throughout the state of Wyoming.

"When a person offers a beneficial service that he truly enjoys for 24 years & stops, that person has an opportunity to assess their feelings on the matter. I prayerfully feel that this aspect of medicine is still needed in Johnson County & the longing to return to it should be heeded."

Nonoperative Sports Medicine includes the care of a diverse array of medical concerns that arise from work, recreational & daily activities. Specific areas of concern include musculoskeletal pain & injury, exercise prescription, concussion management, sports psychology, travel medicine, infectious disease in sports, rehabilitation of injury or illness & the interaction of chronic disease and exercise.

Stefanie Garcia PA - C

Stefanie was born in Buffalo, WY and raised in Kaycee, WY, where she currently lives with her husband Roberto, daughter, Hadlie, and son, Juaquin.

She earned a Human Biology degree from Chadron State College in 2005 and went on to receive a Masters Degree through the Physician Assistant program at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT.

Stefanie worked in family practice in Casper for six years, and then transitioned to the Gillette Walk-In Clinic where she provided acute care for the next seven years.

Stefanie is excited to continue working in Gillette and to have the chance to see patients in Buffalo, as she is now providing family practice care at our Gillette and Buffalo clinics.

She enjoys spending time outdoors and on her ranch where she raises Black Angus cattle.

Mindy Keil PA - C

Mindy graduated from Biola University with a degree in biochemistry and went on to earn her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College. Mindy enjoys outdoor activities, reading and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
